Early Learning Development Guidelines
We provide guidelines developed in collaboration with the Department of Early Learning DEL, OSPI, and Thrive by Five Washington for children ranging from infancy to third grade. These guidelines replace earlier benchmarks med at defining what children know and can achieve at various developmental stages.
PreK-3rd Grade Transition Resources
These resources are designed for educators to facilitate a smooth transition for students starting formal education or experiencing gaps due to COVID-19 disruptions in their early education journey.
Advancing Integrated Inclusive Programs
Governor's mandate, along with legislative support, calls upon the Washington State Department of Children, Youth, and Families DCYF and OSPI to align services for children aged 3 to 5. This collaboration ensures families receive timely and accessible support when needed.
Early Learning in Title I, Part A Programs
To enhance quality early learning activities, we've created a guide that offers strategies to integrate WA state initiatives like transition programs, inclusive classrooms, TK guidance, creating an optimal learning environment, the Brded Funding Matrix, and resources for implementing the Pyramid Model.
Literacy Learning Pathways
We offer diverse Literacy Pathways and Social Emotional Learning Pathways avlable in Spanish and Somali, as well as a Learning Pathway focused on Numeracy skills for early learners.
